Who you are agreeing with

These terms are an agreement between you and MyCanvasDesign, United Kingdom (support@mycanvasdesign.com). By using MyCanvasDesign you agree to them.

The service

MyCanvasDesign is a browser-based design editor and flowchart maker. A PDF editor and a template gallery are coming soon. The core tools are free, with no time limit and no watermarks, and you can use them without an account. We may change or stop parts of the service, and will give reasonable notice where we can.

Your account

Keep access to your email or Google account secure, because that is how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete it at any time from your account settings.

Acceptable use

Use MyCanvasDesign for anything lawful. You must not:

• Create or share illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use it to spread malware, phishing or spam.
• Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
• Submit templates or create share links in bulk with automated tools.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own what you make. We claim no rights over your designs. When you save, share or submit a template, you give us a limited licence to store and show that content only to run the service (and, for templates, to show it to other people in the gallery). The licence ends when the content is deleted. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload.

Community templates

When the template gallery launches, templates are reviewed before they appear in the gallery, and we may remove any that break these terms. If you think a template infringes your copyright, email us with a link to it and proof of ownership and we will take it down.

Pro subscriptions

• Pro is sold by Polar, our merchant of record, which handles billing, local tax and invoices.
• Pro is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel. Cancel anytime in the billing portal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• UK and EU customers can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Email us to do this.
• Prices are in pounds in the UK and US dollars everywhere else. In the UK and EU the price includes tax; in places like the US and Canada tax is added at checkout.
• If Pro ends, your cloud designs stay available to download for 90 days. We email you before anything is deleted, and subscribing again within that time restores everything.

Availability and backups

We work hard to keep MyCanvasDesign running but cannot promise it will always be available, and there is no service level agreement. Keep your own copies of important work by downloading it.

Liability

MyCanvasDesign is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost designs, data or income, or for content other people publish. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about significant changes.
